Day Course in Cardiff: Big Questions in Science and Faith
March 25, 2017
How can any intelligent person today believe in ‘God’? Haven’t Dawkins and Hawking proved that faith is finished? And surely you can’t believe in Science AND Scripture? What do fossils tell us about life? And what about hard ethical questions, like being able to chose the genes of our babies?
This one-day course in the Gate Arts Centre, Cardiff, will explore such BIG questions with leading experts as the speakers and facilitators. The Faraday Institute is partnering with the Cymru Institute for Contemporary Christianity to consider a rich arrange of BIG, contemporary questions.
The Course will be ideal for all those studying or practicing Science, in School, University or industry, but will be delivered in a way that is accessible to those of all backgrounds – as long as you are willing to think and reflect on the challenging questions of our day and age.
Saturday 25th March 9.30am - 5pm, The Gates Arts Centre, Cardiff CF24 3JW. Cost £10 (£5 concessions)
